While visiting some friends in Nicaragua we took a day off from surfing to help build a new house/shelter for this family to replace the one in the background of this image. The new home was modest to say the least but as you can see the family really thankful and appreciated the new digs. It was completed just one night before the first rain in six months and the beginning of the rainy season.
